Institutional profile
Twenty-five years of building logistics businesses where none existed.
I am a Dubai-based executive and strategic advisor. My work combines trade corridor vision at government level with the operational discipline it takes to run cargo, contracts and people every day.
I started in business development in Azerbaijan in the mid-1990s, negotiating international trade and supply agreements, representing companies before government bodies and helping build the transport links freight forwarding depends on. I went on to run B2B distribution as a general manager, then founded and led Optimal Shipping Group for fourteen years, growing it into a six-country logistics and freight forwarding group.
In 2023 I handed over management of the group to work at a broader international level. Since then I have advised logistics and investment companies in Dubai and, since 2024, built a greenfield supply chain department for a German engineering company delivering to major projects in Saudi Arabia.
My training is in law and international relations, which shapes how I approach corridors and joint ventures: as agreements between parties with different interests, not only as routes on a map.
